One more exam objective is

• Explain the benefits of the EJB 3 development model over previous EJB generations for ease of development including how the EJB container simplifies EJB development.

Still you need to know something about EJB 2.0 for the above objective. Most of the EJB 3.0 books like EJB 3 in action cover those topics. If it is not covered in the book you take, you have to know from elsewhere.
