Hi All,

I am preparing for SCMAD exam. I would like to know the importance of going through the JSRs for the exam?

I would also like to know the importance of going through the JSRs in Professional career?

The first part almost certainly belongs in the SCMAD forum instead of this one. As for the second... I think it depends on what course your career is taking, no?

Hi Theodore,

1. There is no dedicated forum for SCMAD so I posted it in this forum.
2. My typical work assignment include Application development? My work doesnt include implementation of specifications given by Sun? Do I need to still read these JSR's?

Thanks,
Mithun

Wow. Tells you how long it's been since I looked closely at the list of certs with their own fora.

With regards to the JSRs, then... I tend to keep abreast of the ones that relate to what I'm working on. The company I'm working for doesn't implement Sun specs either, but I find that it's useful to know the relevant technologies for the space you're working in, and developments that are coming in the near future.
