I want to show .gif image, but android os is not support it

can someone help me ?i want to show .gif image,but android os is not suppert it.can you tell me how to deal with it?thank Q

The easiest way is to convert the image to a PNG (which you can automate through the javax.imageio.ImageIO class).

That's functionality provided by the ImageIO.read and write methods; they support various bitmap image formats. Examples can be found at http://www.exampledepot.com/egs/javax.imageio/pkg.html
