EJB asynchronous call

Hello,

I have a doubt about the call of a EJB from a servlet. My EJB does not have the annotation @Asynchronous and my servlet does not wait for it. Here is the sampe code:


Servlet code:

     

   @EJB(mappedName="BillerSessionBeanRemote")
    private BillerSessionBeanRemote biller;

   //Calling the remote EJB

   biller.getIncomingMessage("test");
   System.out.println("After EJB");

EJB code:

@Stateless
public class BillerSessionBean implements BillerSessionBeanRemote {

public void getIncomingMessage(MessageSessionBean msg) {

        try{
            System.out.println("Im gonna wait");
            wait(1000);
            System.out.println("End EJB");
        } catch(Exception e) {

 }
}

Output:

    
INFO: Im gonna wait
INFO: After EJB

I never see the EJB output "End EJB" and I always see the servlet output "After EJB". I don't understand why.

I'm sorry, I realized what was wrong with it. I was not getting the lock of the EJB properly.
