I'm using JSF 1.1 to build a web app. I have a table with the 1st row as the total count, and the rest of rows as other counts. If I use JSF build-in sorting function. I can sort the whole column, but I want to have the 1st row always fixed at the 1st row position. Is there anyway can do this? Thanks.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
