I have a dynamic web project that was managed by a team lead that left our company. Now I'm attempting to take it over. I had to update a JAR that is located in the Tomcat\lib folder. The Apache Tomcat v6.0 library is in the build path of my web project under the Libraries tab and it is my understanding that this jar will be executed at run time however when I try to import my new class from the updated JAR in one of my java files in another project Eclipse does not recognize the class in my updated jar. I've verified that the class is in the jar in the Tomcat\lib directory Eclipse looks like it still sees the OLD JAR file somewhere.

My question is how can I update Eclipse so that it sees the updated Jar?

Any direction or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Sure. Sorry about that. What I did was right-click on my web project in Eclipse and selected the configure class path option. I then clicked on the Libraries tab and removed the Apache Libraries folder from the Libraries tab and then added it back in and it gave me the updated JAR. I did have to go the ORDER tab as well and re-order the projects/folders as well.

Thanks.
