posts have an 'edit' button you can use for a little while, but once that time limit has passed, you can't. You can always make a new post in the thread correcting what you said earlier.

OK, but I need to edit this message in order to delete an information on it.

If I can't, how can I delete this post ?

Thanks ;)

I'm lost.

Can you give us a link to the thread you are talking about?

I assume you are talking about this thread, as it's the only other one you've created.

you could send a moderator a PM and ask for them to edit the post, but it would be at their discretion.

Find someone who has either "bartenter" or "sheriff" under their name and click on the "PM" button in their post.
Preferably, someone who is a bartender for the forum in question.

On the other hand, deleting a topic is generally not a good option. If the question has been answered, then the solution will also be deleted. And even if the question hasn't been answered, then a valid discussion could be lost.

It may be best to just follow up saying that the topic is no longer valid for you. This will lower the priority on getting an answer, but an answer may still happen -- which in turn, could help someone else in the future.
