I am developing a social networking application, which have media streaming and other major features like Widget Store, Live Audio/Video chat ,Profile Creation, messaging,Groups,Events,Chat,Forums,Blogging,Media etc..

What technology we should use.
We need client as Browser (internet) and on Mobile (hand handled device )

Do we need to create 2 clients or one can work for both Browser & Mobile , if yes then how ?

The standard approach would be to have a special web UI for mobile devices, like what Yahoo does under m.yahoo.com or what JavaRanch does.

But while smartphones like iPhone, BlackBerry, Android etc. have generally decent browsers and not-so-small screens, there are still native applications for Facebook, LinkedIn etc. out there, which may be taken to mean that better GUIs are possible on such devices. That means development using the native languages and tools, though - in other words, a separate mobile app for each device OS you want to support.
