Ok even I trying to learn something about profiling. What do you mean when you say i am not able to start the server in profiling mode. ? Does JBoss 5 have some in-build support for profiling? or you mean an in-build netbeans profile (I not used net beans so I don't really know)

I'm trying to get the Jboss Profiler to work - but that needs some additional works - and I'm still try to get it to work.

What are you using?

I am using netbeans in-built profiler to start jboss in profiling mode but it is giving [netbeans was unexcepted this time] error.
I am trying to attach the profiler in Direct mode.

JProfiler works nice with JBoss (or any other java application).

Will try out JProfiler - Is there any free profiler that does work decent enough though?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
