I cleared part-1 today morning with 73%. Considering the time I spent on preparation, I am happy with the score.

Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for Java EE Study Guide by Mark Cade & Simon Roberts
If you are planning to buy this book, I suggest you use it only for a quick reference...do not rely on this book completely. I'm sure this book will have more revisions coming in future...some important things are missing outright from the chapters... ex: At the beginning of one of the chapters, Author have written that JDO's will be covered in detail later but, no
word of it in the rest of the chapter.
2)
Exam simulator available at the below site was very useful.
I should agree that, I was just lucky to come across below link, only yesterday. At least 10-15 questions were around the same concepts that were tested in this simulator. I am very glad that I came across this site...
