Parsing xml using jquery with cdata

Hi,

Here is the xml that im trying to parse

<entry>
                                     
               <id>487230187</id>
                  <type>RFX</type>
                    <from><![CDATA[12th April March ashes]]></from>
                    <subject><![CDATA[Ketera Sourcing Event Closed]]></subject>
                    <sent>01-Jun-10</sent>
                    <due>31-May-10</due>
                    <noofdays>-1</noofdays>
    		
    	    <url>/sourcing/com/ketera/sourcing/auction/web/view/view-event.iface</url>
       </entry>

This is how im trying to parse the xml

function fetchRecentNotifications(){
	$.ajax({
		url: "/enterprize-sourcing/netsearch.do",
		data : { requestData : "notifications?q=100&alt=xml" },
		dataType: "xml",
		method : "GET",
		success : function(xml){
			$('entry',xml).each(function(){
				var eventType = $(this).find('type').text();
				var eventName = $(this).find('from').text();
				var eventSubject = $(this).find('subject').html();
				var sent = $(this).find('sent').text();
				alert(eventSubject);
			});
			
		}
	});
}

The problem im facing right now is that the tag having CDATA value comes as blank if do

$(this).find('subject').text();

and undefined when i do

$(this).find('subject').html();

How do i extract such data

Guys ,

Atleast let me know if this is the limitation of JQuery
