[Resolved] Application crashes on starting second Activity

When I start a separate Activity my application is crashing. The way I am doing is from the main activity onClick handle I call.

   

public class checkanaddress extends Activity{

	ProcessJob processJob;
	private ArrayAdapter<CharSequence> m_adapterForSpinner;
	private CharSequence message;
	
    /** Called when the activity is first created. */
    @Override
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.services);
      
      public void showNextDialog(View view){
    	Intent i = new Intent(this,serviceselection.class);
    	startActivity(i);
    }
 

the showNextDialog is defined in main.xml as

<Button
android:id="@+id/NextWindow"
android:layout_width="137px"
android:layout_height="40px"
android:text="Show"
android:onClick="showNextDialog">
</Button>

The second activity that is created is

import android.os.Bundle;

public class serviceselection extends Activity{

    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.services);

}
}

The services.xml is defined as

</TableLayout>

 

Anybody having any idea why the application is crashing...

A stack trace / logcat dump would go a long way toward being able to help you.

I did not add the Activity to manifest.xml, worked fine after adding it. Thanks Rahul
