I have a project in which whenever I try to navigate I get ViewExpiredException.

May be this is a problem with the version of jars I am using.
The version of myfaces: 1.2.8

Can you add this in web.xml, right above <
servlet
> mapping
<context-param> <param-name>javax.faces.STATE_SAVING_METHOD</param-name> <param-value>server</param-value> </context-param>
