how to forward the request from a client to a swing application using jsp and servlets

A request can be forwarded from one URL to another URL - where (and how) does Swing fit in? What are you trying to accomplish?

Not sure if this will help however,
You cannot forward the request directly to the swing application, but have an servlet to interpret the request and then have a servlet - applet communciation (JApplet)
