please someone explain me what is this and how to solve this?

The tag handler class for
"c:choose" (org.apache.taglibs.standard.tag.common.core.ChooseTag) was not found on
the Java Build Path

the taglib i used in my program are as follows:
<%@taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c"%>
<%@taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/sql" prefix="sql"%>

Thankx in advance

Did you put the JSTL jars in your project classpath ?

yeah i kept it inside the follwing way

WEB-INF/lib/jakarta-taglibs-standard-1.1.2/lib/jstl.jar
WEB-INF/lib/jakarta-taglibs-standard-1.1.2/lib/standard.jar

i did import these jar files from their directory.

should i keep it directly in the lib like this
"WEB-INF/lib/jstl.jar"

Thanks
Preetha

Yes, but that will not fix the error in Eclipse. To fix the error in Eclipse you need to go into the project properties and add the JARs to the Java Build Path, Libraries tab.
