I have just moved to Windows 7 from Windows XP, but now whenever I open my Firefox browser I get a message asking about SE Runtime Environment 6 update, no matter whether I answer yes or no the message keeps appearing whenever I open the Browser and sometimes when I navigate the internet with the browser. How do I get rid of this?

Thanks

Have you installed Java runtime? If not, get it here.

Welcome to the Ranch

Don't know, but that sounds more like a problem with Firefox. You may need to register the Java runtime with Firefox; try this plugin page from the Firefox website in the first instance.

Thanks this seems to be fixed now. I downloaded and re-applied the JE Runtime v 14 to Firefox. I used a migration tool to move applications over to Windows 7. Firefox was working fine on XP problem only appeared in Windows 7. Must have lost something during the migration.
