Hi Everyone,

Hopefully I am raising this question in the right forum, I am trying to setup the Spring Hibernate Environment for my project, I am keep on getting this error, I guess there is some JAR missing or any compatibility issue. Please suggest if it rings a bell. Details are given below;

Are you sure hibernate.jar is included in the class path?

It doesn't matter if a jar is in your Eclipse .classpath file (if that's what it is, you don't actually say), it needs to be deployed to your web app.

its standalone Java service not a web application and I am getting that problem while running the unit tests.

Are you running it in the Eclipse environment? I mean, something's obviously wrong with your classpath during execution.

Aaaaaand the code that's failing (just the relevant portions), and any run configuration that might be necessary. It'd be a lot quicker to just provide all the useful information up front.
