I found out that the title of the Chapter-10 is Accessing External Services from the http://www.horstmann.com/corejsf/ site.

What are the external services that the JSF can access to?

And could you please explain a bit about the chapter's content? Thanks...

I'll leave this question for Cay, who will be here tomorrow. Cay wrote that chapter.

At a high level, though, the chapter shows you how to use JSF in conjunction with services such as databases, LDAP, web services, etc. There's really not a lot of new information on JSF per se in that chapter, but it's nice to see how you access external services in a JSF application.
