I'm studying for SCJP but I'm very bored by it right now and I could use something more impressive to keep me interested in JAVA once I pass this test. So I'm currently looking for the next interesting topic. I'm interested in web development, web services, enterprise applications, hibernate, and GUI stuff.

Is anybody aware of any training opportunities in those areas?

Like what? There's training available everywhere (although less for GUI/Swing stuff these days).

I have peripheral interests in applets, servlets, web development, web services, and enterprise applications. I have done training searches myself but I would like a human opinion on topics that would cover 1 to many of these interests? I prefer the DC/MD/VA area because it's less expensive.

I think this thread would sit better elsewhere. Maybe on our SCJP forum, bot not certain. Moving.
