Hi,

I want to prepare for SCJP. Should i go for SCJP 5 or SCJP 6. I am confused because SCJP 6 is latest and i have heard that 1.5 is used more in industry.
Please guide.

Thanks
Gaurav

Hello Gaurav,
This question has been discussed many time here. Latest version is always good. And use meaningful subject while posting thread.

Go for SCJP 6. Its right that Java 5 is used at most places, but SCJP 6 means that you know Java 5 and even the new API of Java 6, so that's an added advantage....

Hi Ankit,

Thanks for the advice. One more question i would like to ask. I have K&B book for Java 5 exam. And as you are saying there are some new API's so that book would still be useful for me. Rite ??
