Can anybody help me in understanding how spring achieves the Remote functionality provided by EJB?

How these proxy objects are exposed as remote services to the client?
Where they are deployed? Where the client look up for these Remote Services?

Remoting is required by the EJB specification / built into the EJB framework - it's not something that's required/built into Spring, although there are several ways to accomplish this. The chapter on Remoting and Web Services in the Spring reference covers the options.
