Hi ranchers,

I've succeeded last friday to pass SCBCD. My result is humble, still I'm very happy to be now certified.

During the exam I was pretty confident, I think I have got trapped a few times, because I never had the feeling that I did not know the correct answer.

I used Enthuware mock exam for preparation + EJB 3.0 from Bill Burke & Monson-Haefel.

Enthuware is a very good tool, and the book is very well written and sharp in its explanations.

I have had a short practical experience with EJB 3.0 (a small application composed of a dozen of services and entities) which is important in order to better understand the behaviour of EJBs and to retain information that would be theoretical otherwise.

I worked on the exam in the evening, after my daily job for 2 or 3 months (a little EJB appetizer each evening), and I spent 2 full week-ends on it before the exam.

Mikalai Zaikin guide is also very nice to read as the finishing touch.

I plan to prepare now SCEA which was my goal from the beginning.

Best regards,
Eric
