Dear Friends,

I got my SCEA5 results and I am passed.
It took 20 days to get the results.

many thanks for the healthy discussions in here.
They really helpful for brain storming.

How did you know your results, either thru email or Sun Certification Database?

By today, I have crossed 6 weeks from the submission date.Still, there is no update from Sun.

Hi,
Congrats .
I have appeared for part 3 yesterday and yet to upload assignment . I got a reply from Oracle that part 3 needs to be given first and assignment has to e mailed to them . But the print out which I received from prometric after the exam says the assignment should be uploaded before giving the exam .
Can you please let me know if you have emailed assignment before taking part 3 or after wards .

Certification database is updated with entry stating that I am certified in SCEA 5.

This forum is truly helpful and thank you every one shared their suggestions and help.

Hey Raja & Rana.. Congratulations guys!! Job is well done..

Guys!! I'm also looking forward to start SCEA.. But very new to this, so your Guidence is highly appreciated on my following questions..

1. What book(s) do you recommend? And what edition I should buy, because there are so many editions of books?
2. Usually how long it may take to prepare for Part-1 (I have some previous experience on it)?
3. Should I take Sun's course (but it is very expensive), I hope self study is enough?
4. Java 6 is released, So, is Sun going to make it SCEA 6 or will this exam stay SCEA 5?
5. How long it took you guys to pass Part-1, Part-2 and Part-3?
6. What else you guys think that will help me?

I will appreciate your response and once again Congrats you guys!!
