Hi all,

ok so i have been given the task of developing an adf jsp website in jdeveloper for users to track an order that they place with us where all such details are held in an Oracle database.

for now i have been deploying using my embedded ocfj that comes with jdeveloper...

now this site is going live...

So now i have to deploy the application to an application server that multiple (general public) can access and for this we are using Tomcat.

however we are stuck on the first hurdle so have come here hoping for some guidance...

we have installed Tomcat 6 on a windows server, it has windows 2008, JRE and Tomcat.
the server is called xxx and is not on the domain.

that is as far as we have got...

so now we have a small number of developers that will want their own individual instances of Tomcat to deploy too ultimately then giving a url to the customers all over the uk so they can track their orders...

can anyone please give me any advice or guidlines on how we should proceed forward...

thanks in advance
