Hi All,

I am learning JSF. I was doing the simple application.

I am trying to submit an action but it doesn't hit the action at all and it always stays on the same page.

My Code:

PersonBean.java

messages.properties

faces-config.xml

web.xml

greeting.jsp

inputname.jsp

index.jsp

Thanks in advance.

I hope there is some JSF remaining in my blood.
You aren't specifying a method to be called in your commandButton tag, you should provide something like:
#{someBean.someMethod}
