missing essay exam

I am in the bizzare situation with my SCEA cetification. When I submitted my assignment, SUN/Oracle came back asking me for more details regarding my essay exam. I told them that I have taken the essay exam and supplied them with all the details that I know. Now 4 weeks later, they told me they are still waiting for prometric to pass them the essay. Has anybody got similar problem and how you got it resolved?

Call prometric up. Explain the situation. They will NOT understand it the first 3 times.

When they do, they will ask you to prove that you actually took the exam because the status of your exam on their site says 'TESTED' and not PASSED/FAILED/NO SHOW etc. Thats when you suggest that you have actually received an Examination Score Report after taking Exam 3. The rascals will then ask you to scan it and sent it to them so that they can "believe" you.

Then they will upload only the fact that you've taken the exam into the cert manager db. (verify in the history page). Shoot off a mail to Sun to notify them that Prometric has uploaded your exam.

Sun will then get back to you saying that though they've received your new status of Exam 3, they have not actually received your answers! Sun will tell you that they are doing all they can to extract the answers from the prometric system and the only thing you can do is twiddle your thumbs and cross your fingers.

After that, you'll land up in the same position as me.. waiting...

I am in same situation. I gave part 3 on 20th May and last week when i enquired about the result, they said they are still waiting for part3 from prometric. After reading previous response, i called up promteric and they said they have already sent to sun and they will now resend in next 24-48 hours. so i will check with sun like they recieved or not, i hope they reply back this time too.

And wait period will start once again.......

Waiting period is frustating, but can't help it.

well after 3 weeks waiting i get a reply from sun saying that they have now received the answers and the assignment will now be sent for grading...and this process will take another 6 weeks.

suns replies arrive at the same time (around midnight western US time....maybe some batch job)...implying 24 hr response time.
