hi,

im using htmlunit because i want to simulate a browser (execute js etc.) which is not possible in httpclient 4
but i need some functions of httpclient 4 (set another redirect strategy etc.)
is it possible to get the httpclient of htmlunit and modify it?

I don't know the answer to that question, but be aware that HtmlUnit does not use the redirection facilities of HttpClient. So the change would be to HtmlUnit's configuration, not HttpClient's.

yes thanks its working (after a couple of hours changing httpclient with htmlunit) even without modifying httpclient, so looks like they already make something like this..
