Congrats Buddy.

I have started with RMH book. But it does not cover topics like JAX-WS, REST, JSON, JAXB. Did you find questions on these topics in Exam? Which stuff did you refer to study these toics? Another question, do we need to study JAX-RPC from RMH?

Actually, JAX-WS is the upgrade of JAX-RPC I'm also preparing my self for SCDJWS exam.
For JAX-WS/REST I'm reading from book "Java Web Services Up And Running" by Martin Kalin.

In this book "Java Web Services Up And Running" by Martin Kalin, which chapter covers JAX-WS in detail?

Basically the the whole book covers JAX-WS only/almost its a only 300 pages book!!

For JAX-WS Basic and a quick start read chapter number 1.
skip chapter number 2 if you are already familiar with WSDL/Soap Message from RMH book.
Read Chapter number 3 for Handlers.
Read Chapter number 4 for RestFul services.
Read Chapter number 5 for WS Security implementation.
Read Chapter number 6 for implement EJB stateless bean as WS.

Obviously through out the all above chapters you're gonna use JAX-WS instead of JAX-RPC, therefore i would recommend read all the chapters and practice all the examples given in book thoroughly(examples are really awesome). You can download the code from O'Reilly web site as well url is mentioned inside the book.

Regards

Minhaj
