I''m trying to send a email message from my computer at work using these two classes:
SMTP.java


SMTPDemo.java


and this is the console output:

No respectable mail server in the world accepts connections without authentication these days.

Unless it's your ISP and you're connected to that ISP while sending. My ISP certainly doesn't require me to login. It sees I'm using their connection so I can use their SMTP server, also for other email accounts.

So Predrag, the question is, are you using a verat.net connection at the moment? If so, contact them about the problem. If not, try entering your login credentials.

So you are, in fact, authenticated, as far as your ISP is concerned. :-)
