is it okay that the listener of my server port is 7777 and the listener of my client port is 8888?
is there any disadvantage?

Should not be any problem unless those ports are used by other programs. you can use up to 65535. you can do a "netstat -ona" on command prompt and check whether these ports are already being used

Everything under 1024 is also not allowed in some operating systems unless you're an administrator / root.
