hello,
i've just started to install the jboss 4.o.5.GA on linux. What i did was:
1) install sun JDK 1.6.0_21
2)set JAVA_HOME environment using JAVA_HOME="/usr/java" so there is usr/java directory
export JAVA_HOME
3) unzip jboss to usr/jboss
4) started the server using ./run.sh

successfully run localhost:8080 @ 127.0.0.1:8080 @myipaddress:8080.

Below is the full command on output console

Is it correct? is there any mistake in the configuration steps (since i didn't create the %path%as i did on windows) ?
But why is there "unbind"error and "couldn't find cluster rule set"
Thank you very much

That cluster message is just a INFO level log and doesn't look like a problem to me.

Where is the "unbind" error that you are talking about?

hi kiran,
thanks for the quick replied.

i thought the code above is the error because of the word "unbinding"

That cluster message is just a INFO level log and doesn't look like a problem to me.

so i've done the installation correctly so far.

thanks jaikiran

Those unbinding messages are again INFO level logs that you see when the server is shutting down. Notice this in the logs that you posted in the first post:

You pressed Ctrl + C on the console which triggered the server shutdown. During the shutdown, the server started undeploying the applications/deployments (which is natural).
