Has any been able to book the JSF beta exam? I see in the Prometric list the new JPA, and update Web, EBJ and web services but no JSF

Beta exam runs before the exam goes into production. Beta exam codes normally start with CX-311-XXX, regular exams: CX-310-XXX

Defferences of beta exam from regular exam:

1. Beta exam has a limited period (month or two).
2. Beta exam results are ready after 6..8 weeks only after beta period closed.
3. On the beta exam one should answer ALL question from exam pool (i.e. production exam can have 60 questions, exam pool can have 3 different sets of questions, so exam pool is 180 questions)
4. Duration of beta exam is 2...3 times longer than regular one: regular exams duration is about 2 hours, beta exams duration about 5 hours.
5. Beta exam is cheaper (earlier Sun had free betas, now Oracle charges $50 per beta)
6. Beta exam with the same code can not be taken twice.

NOTE: Beta exam certificate is just the same as regular exam certificate.

MZ

According to the Oracle Blog, it has been postponed.

Cheers!
