I like to view the getClass() method of class Object.... how to open it ..

You mean the source code? Do you have a copy of the Java source code? Are you using an IDE?

yes,the source code...I don't know whether i have or not .....i don't have any IDE..... i just want to know how it works...means how it finds which class my object is. (logic of it).

In your JDK, there is src.zip. Look it up there.

It's a native method, so you'll need the entire JDK source. It's available as well these days.
