I want to map the following url to a particular action class
URL: http://hostname/webappname/service/soap/

In web.xml I tried something like this
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>action</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/service/soap</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>

And in struts-config,
<action path="/struts-example/services/rest" type="my action class" >
</action>

I tried various configuration with subtle differences to the above.
Is this possible?

Sorry for the typo.
struts-config is
<action path="/struts-example/services/soap" type="my action class" >
</action>

So ultimately what I would like to do is have separate action classes to handle various request formats like soap/rpc/REST, etc

OK. Got it.
Thanks!

If you send is by car it's a shipment, but if by ship it's cargo. This tiny ad told me:
