actually i wanted to go to a specific webpage ...
eg: - www.javaranch.com

i have made two threads .... in one i want to call a webpage and in other i want to play a song ...



so suggest me how to do?

Forget about the threads and open the website. Forget about threads and play the song. Then put the two together with threads later.

although the program runs fine without any exceptions.. but the browser does not get opened and page is not displayed...

when i attempted to save the contents of the page in a file ... that's happened perfetly alright. but the page is not displayed on the browser.
