Hi dudes,

I have completed my assignment and have written to www.who2contact@sun.com to grant me access to submit my assignment
but since thursday last week up till now, I havent received any response from them. I need to find out if things have changed in this regard at Sun
maybe due to the Oracle acquisition, or is it traditional for there to be such delays. I have also written to the Sun employees whom I dealt with when
I purchased the assignment and they have been mute so far. Please someone help me.

HI Eric,

Now the process of submitting assignment has been changed. You must email the assignment JAR file as an attachment to the email address architect-submit_US@oracle.com.

Please go to this web site for more details.

https://ibt1.prometric.com/index.asp?ibt=9754754900&

Thanks,
Marut

Hi,

Please follow the new procedure by sending assignment to the email address. Though, early this year there were abrupt delays and confusions, nowadays the certification process seems to have been streamlined, and all is going smoothly. I got my result very fast after submitting (sending) my assignment. All the best for your endeavors.

Cheers,
Kuppusamy.V.,

Take your part 3 before you submit your part 2 else your part 2 submission will be orphaned at Oracle.

Ha! I have submitted the assignment already!!
I hope I haven't 'desecrated' one of the 'holy grails' of the exam!!! How bad can it get then, since I intend to take my part 3 next week?

The way it works at Oracle is that once you take your part 3 and email the assignment to the submission email address, they associate your submission with your prometric response for part 3 and then queue it up for the assessors to evaluate. However, when you submit your part 2 and they don't find a corresponding part 3 essay response, they probably just ignore the email. That is what I meant by orphaned submission. However, there have been a few people who have taken part 3 after submitting part 2 based on the posts in this forum. In such a case, you will probably have to send an email to OCP to ensure that they have received the submission and sent it for evaluation.

Good luck with your submission.

++ on that. I dont think it is a crime to reverse the submissions by mistake

Good luck with your exam

hi guys,
when i took the exam last year, i had been advised to take part 3 first: i guess it can go either way. hence, no harm if you reverse the sequence. good luck.
