Yes, you can put your score on your resume, but I don't think it's worth it.
As long as I know, the number of certified people is not officially published.

PS : mail you what ?

Hi Rupesh,

Welcome to javaranch. Yes you can mention the percentage in your resume and there is no fixed format.

Also please use the forum and not emails to communicate. If you post your questions here, the community at large can benefit from the answers provided.

Christophe probably meant: "As far as I know, the numberof certified people is not officially published".

Sometime last year (or even longer ago) Sun celebrated that the 500,000th SCJP certificate was issued. So probably there are somewhere between 500k and 1 million SCJP certified programmers.

Note that the score is not on the SCJP certificate itself. What matters is that you passed it, not how much exactly you scored.

Is 80% not a good score in SCJP 6.0?

Yeah thats what I thought too. I know how Christophe feels. Missing the 'not' has caused me trouble way too many times

80% is a good score. If you want to talk about resumes and resume formats, then start a new topic in Job Discussion forum...

No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. This time, do it with this tiny ad:
