I joined 'X' product based company just one month back. Previously i was working for service based company. In current company i am not liking the work and also here the proces is very slow. During my interview they told me good things that lot of good development activity is going on but i dont see any active work going on here. And also i dont see any growth here, no customer interaction nothing. Hence i am thinking to look for some other company, its hardly one month so i am worried. Please let me know how do i go about it.
I was working for 3.5 years in service based company and also domain is different. And the present company is working on legacy applications and i feel the evnironment is not encouraging to grow, i am thinking i have become kind of stuck . But during intervew they told they have good customers but they will not disclose the customers name but now i relaised that the product is verly old product but they are maintaining it. I am feeling i have done a great mistake by joining this company, our move should be like, we should be growing in the field by climbing up the ladders, now its like i am going down the ladder. Please let me know how do i come out of this, or do i need to stay here for few days.
In U.S.A., it is good to stay at least one year and then leave. It looks like you made a very poor decision. You should take time and figure out what happened so that you don't make the same mistake again. One year will help you do this.

As long as the reason is valid, the next employer will consider your case. I know employees that quit after a week into the new job. I have heard several cases where this happened, everywhere from fortune 10 companies to startups.
So how long has it been since you joined the new firm ? Have you really explored all there is to explore ? Perhaps there is a gem amidst the ruins if you look closely enough. Think through these questions before you make a decision.
