I want to do some Maths related things in Matlab, and for the rest in Java, hoe can I connect them together? Somebody please help. I think, by socket programming we can connect them? But are there any other methods to do this?

And second question, what is the native methods in java, to connect other languages like c?

Thanks...

Something like that. Native methods are programmed in any other language; mostly C or C++ but others are also possible. This is called JNI.

The JNI tutorial is a good place to start here...

Yea, I got it. A Java API to control and interact with MATLAB. This is a jar file, I'll try it with my project. Thanks.

Thanks a lot Henry.
