Hi,

I had given final round of an interview in [COMPANY] Bangalore--[XXX] Dept. , and had been reimbursed the train fare instead of an air fare . I had already taken an approval from the concerned interviewer for the same , but now he is not agreeing and telling me that only train fare tickets are to be reimbursed as per company's Policy

Could any one help me out in order to solve the issue or could provide me the contact address of relevant person to whom should i take up this matter

BTW, how much are we talking about here?

On the interviews which I have done in the past, the company pays hotel and air -- and out of their pocket (not reimbursed). And if they don't mention it, I generally pays for food and taxis. If they bring it up, I submit for reimbursement. If they don't, it's just a cost of doing business (in one case, it was almost C$200 in taxi fares).
