Hi,

I am starting a HTTP server using com.sun.net.httpserver.HttpServer. The snippet of code is like -

...............................................................
server = HttpServer.create(new InetSocketAddress(port), 5);
server.start();

It seems like after each execution of the "HttpServer.create" line of code the number of file handlers are getting increased by 3. Even "server.stop()" can not destroy those file descriptors it seems.

Has anyone seen this problem and is there any suggested solution?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

Amrit
