I am learning to write a composite component and have already partially finished it. But at the very last step, I was stumped as I do not know how to use the setValue() method in ELResolver! Can anyone please enlighten me how to assign value to an expression using the above said method? I would really appreciate it if the explanation comes with some examples.

Some additional info:
1) I have an object returned from an external method in the component's actionListener, using ELResolver .

2) I have an attribute named "value" for the user to input a managed bean to store the returned object from the method.

3) The object consist of String types and Int types.

4) I am using JSF 2.0.

Thanks all.
