Advanced Java branches off into way too many different fields to be contained in a single book, pick a single application area and ask again.

that's kind of like saying you want a book on advanced medicine. Cardiology? Allergy? Psychiatry? you need to focus a little more.

What kind of stuff are you looking for?

actually right now i am studying jdbc but i do not know which book to read from.Till now i have only studied from the sun java tutorials,but i need to read some book.please suggest.

Campbell gave some good tips. Especially Effective Java is an important book to read for every Java programmer who wants to become better at Java.
