Hi all,

I am finding "Java web services up and running" very difficult to understand and taking a lot of time. Could anybody suggest another book on web services which can be understood easily.

With Regards

Hi Deepthi. Please take a look at this one: Developing Web Services with Apache Axis2. I have read good reviews about it, and it seems to be easy to follow. Of course, its specific to Axis2.

That book is actually one of the better books out there. Web services itself is not an easy subject. So it may take reading the book a couple of times. And probably using multiple books.

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestions. I am going through that book and find it easy. Also could you suggest books on jax-ws and restful webservices as this book does not cover them in depth. Is "SOA cookbook" easy to read and suitable for beginners.

Any help appreciated

With Regards
