Hello,

Can any one please tell me how do we add parameter to jsp's url.
what should be the algorithm.?

Please TellTheDetails. Why would you want to so such a thing? Where? When?

But mostly why, because it doesn't seem like anything useful to do unless you are talking about adding to a URL on the HTML page before the URL is submitted (in which cas this is likely the wrong forum).

because i read somewhere that "this data is not accessible from any other servlet and jsp" ..
so i want to know how is it done..
please let me know...

Huh? What is that supposed to mean? Do you have a real-world problem that you are trying to solve?

If are wanting to share data among the servlets and JSPs that make up a request, parameters are not the right way to do it.

dude, you are totally not clear !

you want to provide data in jsp or you want to pas data from jsp to somewhere else

case 1 : use request.setAttribute

case 2: you have to explain the situation
