hello all,
i am basically a .Net developer, but i am now assigned to a project that uses JAVA, in this project i should use a web service (.Net WCF web service) that is secured (over HTTPS),
and the service is signed with a self signed certificate. i almost tried everything mentioned on the web but nothing actually worked.
So if someone have the answer, i would appreciate it.

Thank you
Sohayb

HTTPS communication is independent of which platform both client and server run on. What sort of problem are you facing? In other words, what have you tried, and how did it not work?

well i tried JAX-WS to generate the client stubs to call, and apache axis2 for the same reason. both of them failed because of the certificate security exception (self-signed) and gave me an SSL exception. and i tried SOAPUI to generate the SOAP message to use when calling the service, in http case it worked like charm and i got the right answers when calling the service's functions, but when using https, the service replies with http error message 415 : UNKNOWN MEDIA TYPE
