Guys,

I have to write certain text in french language. What i did is i converted text from english to french using google translator and then copied those symbols to my html page. I am using UTF-8 as page encoding. Everything goes well so far. My team member asked me to use xml:lang attribute. Now i am really confused. What is the use of xml:lang when thing is working without it. Please explain.

Thanks
