Hi All,
I have a scenario where I get the xml (from other system, not in my control) having special character (ü) in it.
When I use it in my system, I get exception

Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Element type "Z" must be followed by either attribute specifications, ">" or "/>".

Where xml tag was suppose to be Zürich.

Any help will be highly appriciated.

Thanks and Regard,

Possibly you are not using the right encoding when you parse the document. But it's difficult to say given the code you have posted.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
