I am a newbie in Image processing stuff. I need to find that if a image contains red color or not. How should I approach ?

BufferedImage has a getRGB method to query to colour of a specific pixel.

Interesting problem: How do you define "red"? Is it just pixels with RGB values of (255,0,0)? Or maybe (254,0,0) is also red? How about (249,5,7)?
