Content Provider for sdcard

How to create the content provider for sdcard.
We have the facility for SQLite but I want to know can we create the private folder on sdcard using content provider ?So that other apps cannot access it .

Content providers are used to serve data related to an application. Generally content providers use SQLite database, but you can create a content provider which uses other storage technique (or even not store the data anywhere and fetch it from internet or other sources). Basically your question is can we store files on the SD card which only our application can access, its given in google docs
Files saved to the external storage are world-readable and can be modified by the user when they enable USB mass storage to transfer files on a computer.

Yes but other applications can access those files.
I do not want to share those docs with other apps.
